Elnathan was cute sitting in his bed for his morning Bible time. When he gets up we ask him to sit and look at his books and listen to music or a Bible CD while we have our own quiet times. He is happy to do this as long as he has dummy and blankie! When this photo was taken he was listening to our new "Songs for Saplings" CD "God and Creation", catechism put to music.
Elnathan has also become genuinely helpful at using his wheelbarrow, provided he is given lots of supervision and direction! We have been cleaning up leaves in our backyard.
Natey's memory verse was "Children obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord" Colossians 3:20.

Mercy was happy to grab at loquats and try to put them in her mouth, but remained hesitant to eat from a spoon. She was seven months on the 21st!
A little friend who is one week older than Mercy came to visit with her parents. Mercy cannot sit up for long yet. In this picture she is about to collapse!
From garden to tummies . . .
Our last cherry tomatoes were delicious in a salad. We had tomatoes from January to June, and there are still some sauces in the freezer!
A book we enjoyed together was Letterland ABC from Grandma, which is full of fun letter characters! It was cute to hear Elnathan say to Dave "Please Natey learn" while requesting this book. Our last cherry tomatoes were delicious in a salad. Encouragement, ideas and inspiration came from Motherhood as a Mission Field.
We are thankful for my successful first ever trip to the library and shops with both children. Yes, I had never attempted this before!
